1st Hari Raya

I was in for a shock this morning. Suddenly, my house is sparkling clean. Everyone is chipping in to clean the house. New attractive decorative ornaments are being added to the once plain looking abode. Hummm, my guess is that some sort of festivities is going to commence soon. I wonder what's is called?
Mom even made me tried out this traditional Malay costume just to see if it fits. Unfortunately, minor adjustments are in order. Apparently the smallest size that my parents could find was one that was tailored for one year old. I'm only three months to the good. So you do the math and try to imagine how ridiculous I looked.
The next day we all woke up bright and early. It was the earliest bath I took since I was discharged from hospital. It was still gloomy and the sun was still rising; mom and dad had already left home with me.

We ended up at the nearby mosque where people were assembling for some ceremony. Dad left me with mom and went inside. I got bored of the whole thing and went to sleep. Mom look like she had other important stuff to do then to be bothered with looking after me, so it was all for the best of things.
When I woke up, we were already prepared to leave the mosque for home.
