My 1st Birthday!

4th July 2009

This morning, at around 11.30am, someone came with lots of food. As I was wondering, what the occasion was, I suddenly remembered, it's my Birthday! Happy Birthday to me! I'm a big boy now..I am 1! Before I know it, my parents dressed me in a heroic suit. I know what that is, I am Superman! Or rather, Superboy! Man, I feel so special today.

Shortly after that, my Nenek, Nek Cik, Auntie Bibah and my favourite Abang Haneef came! Daddy fetched them from Tampines Mall. Even my Uncle Arul and Auntie Wati came! All of them enjoyed the feast and immediately after that it was cake cutting ceremony for me! Yes, I have a cake with Ernie in it! We took tons of photographs, courtesy of my Uncle Arul who brought his huge SLR camera for my special occasion and boy do we pose. I definitely had lots of fun with all the attention on me.

That was not all. After they left, Mummy and Daddy's friends slowly came and graced the occasion. And guess what they brought? Presents! I was so delighted beyond words, basking in all the attention they gave me. My friends even came by, like Farhi, Kak Shaista, Haaziq and many more! I thoroughly enjoyed myself playing with them and sharing my toys.

Mummy and Daddy's friends hang around for the food and until the end of the day. As there were so much leftovers, Mummy and Daddy went busy packing for their friends to bring home. By then, I already felt sleepy and it doesn't take me long to fell into deep slumber soon after. However, before that, Mummy and Daddy made me pose in front of the presents I received. I was too exhausted to open the presents, thus, left the job to my Mummy and Daddy.

Hopefully, I have a Birthday celebration every year, because that means I can have more and more toys! *Grin*

The Tata Moment

24th November 2009

Achievement of the Day: I can say Tata and wave goodbye now!

I am so happy of my achievement. I didn't realised it was such a big deal for my parents and grandparents. But when I did it, they were applauding me, feeling proud of what I did. After that, they tried to get me to do it again and again. But of course, it gets tiring after so much repetitions that I completely ignored them after a while.

At least now I know that when mummy wears her tudung, open the door and leave me unchanged means I'm being left behind to say Tata and wave goodbye to her. It's a sad feeling but at least I know she'll be back soon. :)

My 1st Words!

21 January 2009

After mustering up enough strength and saliva, I eventually managed to utter my very first words! My daddy was the happiest person when he heard me say "Dada", even though I said it without meaning. I wondered, what was he so happy about. I am just too happy that I could even say anything!

My mummy managed to grab the video camera to capture me in action! This is the second time I muttered those words, take a look!

Mummy was so happy that she immediately transferred the video, edited it in Windows Movie Maker and uploaded it inside her Facebook! Well, since I've been in her tummy for 9 months, I am pretty well versed in the IT side, considering my mummy is working in that line. Always seeing her having to design stuffs for her school, I now like to see anything with patterns and designs on them.

Anyway, I am very happy with my achievement! What would the next word be? I guess my mummy was hoping it to be "Mama", as she couldn't stop asking me to say that now!
